Sun Peaks Resort

Situated just a 40 minute drive north of Kamloops and a 3 hour drive from Whistler, Sun Peaks Resort was a well-kept secret until 1995. Then former Olympic champion, Nancy Greene, and her husband Al Raine, who helped put Whistler on the map, moved in. Sun Peaks has a high level of genuine friendliness and hospitality found at few resorts.

There is now a vibrant village, the heart of which is full of atmosphere with good shops, bars, coffee shops and restaurants, including one at mid-mountain where there is a popular weekly fondue and torch lit descent.
